On Sunday 9th August 2015, Phillip Jones, Dewi Owen and myself are cycling in the inaugural Mark Cavendish Sportive.
We’re taking part in this event to raise money for the #teamirfon campaign through the
North Wales NHS charity, Awyr Las.#teamirfon is a campaign set up by
Irfon Williams from Bangor to raise money to support the Alaw Unit in Ysbyty
Gwynedd where he is currently receiving treatment for bowel cancer.
The money raised through
#teamirfon will help fund a range of added extras for patients receiving cancer
treatment on the Alaw Unit including bespoke wigs and headwear for ladies who
have lost their hair, complementary therapies, and counselling
