11 Peak 47K challenge · 11 June 2010

The Kepplewray Project, in partnership with The Bethesda Project is a residential education and activity centre in the Lake District, offering full board, fully accessible accommodation. Its Christian ethos is one of inclusion. The vision is to bring disabled and non-disabled people together as equal partners. It offers challenging adventurous activities and the chance to relax and unwind with home cooked food and good facilities. We are working in partnership with The Bethesda Project, an outdoor activity project in Burundi, with the same ethos of inclusion.

Story

Many thanks to all that have donated to this site, those who gave generously via our sponsor forms and to the inspirational people who just walk up to us and gave us cash in hand.

As you will see we have reached and surpassed our £3000 target. The total will go beyond that  thanks to the gift aid which Kepplewray can claim back.

Congratulations to Mandy Hide,  partner Ian and her son Keenan for winning the signed England shirt following the draw carried out at Kepplewray on the  31st July 10. Keenan, a keen Bury fan said that it will go pride of place, on his wall in his bedroom with his signed Shakers shirt.

Finally, a huge thanks to the boys who did the real hard work. The walkers and those who went out getting the money. Everyone played a part in helping us achieve our goal and you should be very proud of your efforts.

For those who have donated for others I would be very grateful if you could pass on all our warmest thanks.

So, what's the next challenge boys..........?
