Oxfam is an independent development and relief agency. The donations to Oxfam have been used to implement projects in many of the poorest regions of the world to help end poverty and provide vital relief following natural disasters and conflict.
Oxfam Trailwalker is a challenging endurance fundraising event in which teams of 4 complete 100km trail through bush terrain in 48hours. Oxfam Trailwalker is a growing global phenomenon. In 2007, Oxfam Trailwalker have taken place in five different countries across Australia, New Zealand, China (Hong Kong), the UK and Japan. Oxfam Trailwalker is an event that involves significant commitment, endurance and at the end of it all, a wonderful sense of achievement.
So with all supports we got, our team did finish 27th within 31 hours 26 minutes. There were 171 teams participating in the event and 103 teams completed as a team. It was tough but we did it. Now we hope our success will motivate you to support Oxfam by sponsoring our team.
