Story
Thanks
for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Please support me on
this sponsored walk on 16th October - Nepal's Day of the Dog*. I will be one of
108 dogs taking part - all donations to my web page will be gratefully
received.

further information please visit the website: www.kathmanduarts.org.
We have now rented the ideal building for
the arts centre in Kathmandu and renovation is in progress and will be opening
within the next few months. We have raised half the money but still need
to raise a further £30, 000.
Donating
through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe
with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you
donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid
is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it's the most
efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs
for the Kathmandu Arts Centre. So please dig deep and donate now.
*Every year in Nepal, for one day, all dogs,
including strays, are looked on with respect. A red tika is put on the
dog's forehead and a garland of flowers around its neck and it is prayed to so
that it will guard the house as it guards the gates of the underworld and in so
doing divert destruction away from the home. Consequently, a donation
will be made to the Kathmandu Animal Treatment Centre, a charity helping street
dogs in Kathmandu - www.katcentre.org.np
