HELP FOR HEROES

SUPPORT FOR OUR WOUNDED

What is H4H all about? It’s about the blokes. It’s about Derri, a rugby player who has lost both his legs, it about Carl whose jaw is wired up so he has been drinking through a straw. It’s about Richard who was handed a mobile phone as he lay on the stretcher so he could say goodbye to his wife. It is about Ben, its about Steven and Andy and Mark, its about them all. They are just blokes but they are our blokes; they are our heroes. We want to help our heroes.

Help for Hero’s Charity has be founded with the main aim to raise awareness of all injured serviceman that have served and are still serving in the British Services.

666 miles  is the total distance that 13 Cadet Training Team stationed in Grantham are going to cycle to raise money for this worthy cause.

The planned bike ride will start in London on 1st June 2008 and then the route will cover our home towns of the 6 team members.

We intend raising the awareness of the charity by gaining media coverage in our local newspapers and radio stations and  other media opportunities available to us.

The Team members will ride non stop 20 mile relay legs, starting from The Cenotaph in LONDON  following a route which takes them to: BISHOP STORTFORD, OUNDLE, WORCHESTER, NOTTINGHAM, MORECAMBE, BARNSLEY, and GRIMSBY finally ending 72 hours later in GRANTHAM on the 4th June 2008.

It is hoped to raise a considerable amount of money which will be presented to the charity on completion.

So please dig deep into your pockets with what you can afford for this fantastic cause.

On behalf of myself and my fellow members of 13 Cadet Training Team we would like to thank you for your contribution in supporting our Heroes.
