Story

Hello!!

So I thought - oh I know what I'll do, I'll enter the Great North Run, it's a ballot, I might not even get a place......but I did! I'm feeling tired already.....! Most people do this for a national charity or at least a charity we've all heard of. I've chosen something closer to my heart...always like to be different I know! My mum works 3 days a week at a school for physically and mentally disabled children, up to the age of 11. The staff do a fantastic job in providing these children with as normal a school life as they can expect and the facilities are second to none. They are currently trying to raise £200,000 to be able to build an adventure playground to provide the kids with even more opportunities to develop.

Obviously I know I'm not going to raise that much but whatever I can raise I know they'll be very appreciative of.

So, even if you can only spare £1 then I'll be happy. Come on, I'll not be able to talk at the end of it.......that's surely worth £1!!!

Best keep running!
