In September/October 2009 Matt will be joining 30 musicians, cancer survivors and supporters as they embark upon a symbolic pilgrimage to Uhuru, the 19,341ft peak of Mount Kilimanjaro. This adventure/fundraiser is not for the faint of heart and will challenge their bodies and willpower as they climb the world’s largest free-standing mountain. They will do so in order to bring love, hope and strength to the people of East Africa.

Matt will paying for his own flight costs to get to Tanzania and the US$5,000 of the trek but has also committed to raising US$9,000 for the Love Hope Strength Foundation to support the main cancer center in East Africa, located in Nairobi, Kenya.  Please give generously to help him meet his fundraising target.
