On Friday 7th August I'm riding Stage 35 of The Great Tour 2015 from Ipswich to Southend-on-Sea. This is going to cover 130kms through the day winding it's way out of Suffolk and through Essex.

This will be the furthest I've ever ridden in a single day and is going to prove quite a challenge. I have the overall lack of hills in Essex on my side!

Training has been coming along. Best I can say about it is that I have been getting out and riding, just not as much as I'd like.

I'd be really grateful to everybody who can dig deep and support me on this challenge and help raise lots of money for MacMillan along the way.
