We make a difference at MCHFT to improve experience for patients & staff

Story

My two children were born at Leighton hospital in Crewe. My youngest, born earlier this year, seemed impatient and her mother and I had to make numerous trips to the hospital before she was finally here (late, in the end!)

If she'd been born early, as 1 in every 11 babies born in the Mid Cheshire Hospitals Foundation Trust area are, we'd have wanted her to have the best possible care and facilities.

The great neonatal staff at Leighton already provide the wonderful care, but they need improved facilities. The hospital wants to move the neonatal unit so it's nearer to the maternity ward and make it bigger, to give familes more privacy with their precious babies at what can be a really difficult time.

This isn't my first triathlon, but it will be a special one - it's the first one my beautiful new daughter will come and watch me do.

Please dig deep to sponsor me for a worthy cause. Every pound will help Leighton hospital achieve the £1 million they need to raise for this project.

Thank you.
