<p><em><strong><span style="color: #339966;">I have the neurodegenerative illness <a title="Click to open in a new window" href="http://www.curefa.org/whatis.html" target="_blank">Friedreich's ataxia (FA)</a>. I was diagnosed at 12, confined to a wheelchair at 22 and now I'm 37.</span></strong></em><br /><br /><em><strong><span style="color: #339966;">There at present is no treatment or cure for FA but the continued scientific advancement brings about a great possibility, that will change my life, family and friends, other sufferers, family and friends lives forever. You have a heart to give a pound to eradicate this cruel, insane and relentless illness.</span></strong></em><br /><br /><em><strong><span style="color: #339966;">A cure for FA will bring about an understanding that has enormous potential to lead to treatments for Parkinson's, ALS, Huntington's, MS and many others.</span></strong></em><br /><br /><em><strong><span style="color: #339966;">My sister passed on at the young age of 5 from leukemia (cancer).
