NewsFlash - update

Rain stops play. The horrendous rain has delayed take off once again. We're all starting to get very cold feet! but don't worry we will do it! one day.....Thanks to the organisers for all their hard work so far and third time lucky...

Thanks to health and safety the zip has been postponed!  Phew - 'cos it was pouring down on that day.

The new date is 12th/13 May. So not to late to add a donation. Thanks everyso much to those that have already..... Funds donated on this page go towards Kate, Kerry, Gareth and Graham's fundraising...

SARA offer a 24/7 365 days a year rescue service on our beautiful rivers and mountains.

As cub leaders we get to go on some fantastic adventures with our cubs. Naturally are very aware of the brilliant but equally respectful of the amazing area we live in.

At my old primary school, Woolaston, we learnt to swim in an outdoor swimming pool made from freezer doors by the PTA after a young boy drowned in the Servern. Nowadays, SARA is there to help anyone who gets into difficult on our rivers and mountains.

On a lighter note the idea of travelling on a zip wire for 720metres is terrifying and thrilling and we are all really looking forward to the challenge - after all why should the cubs have all the fun!

Thanks

Kate, Kerry, Gareth and Graham (otherwise known as Kotick, Chill, Shere Khan and Bagheera.). x
