Thanks for finding your way  to this page. You have either followed a link and so are already in 'charity mode' or you have been incredibly unlucky in stumbling onto this page by mistake - never mind all are welcome! 

So what am I asking you to contribute to?

Action Aid is a charity I have supported for a number of years from the comfort of my cosy armchair. This year I have decided to get off my arse, have a look for myself & get involved in the graft side of things!

I am off to Nepal 20th-30th November to work as part of a group of volunteers with the local community building much needed family homes. Anyone who knows my level of DIY skills will appreciate I will be contributing to the 'unskilled' labour !

My aim is to raise at least £3500 from sponsorship so I am asking for any contribution you feel you can make - please. Donating is easy. If you are a U.K. taxpayer, Action Aid can claim an extra 28% at no cost to you. Barclays have agreed to match the first £750 raised so I am confident of achieving my goal.
