This is the 5th year of my #1Year1... challenges! Last year I raised £400 with my swear jar & believe me, that was hard! Trying to control my language was an unbelievable task but totally worth it!

This years challenge I signed up to a distance challenge with ‘Conqueror Events’ where I have set myself 51 weeks to walk/jog/run the distance of Land’s End to John O’Groats! According to the challenge that’s a total of 1744.2km!

According to the calculator I’ll need to be hitting approximately 34.1km a week! Now, that doesn’t sound a lot but with no gyms (treadmills), COVID lockdowns/tiers & the simple fact I’m RIDICULOUSLY unhealthy, this is indeed going to be a royal challenge for me! Not to mention I work nights at the hospital too! I completed ‘Couch to 5K’ last year so can say without a doubt that even 5km in a day is gonna be a push for me outside of natural steps throughout the day!

So please, please consider the good that Scottish Huntington’s Association do for the many, many people with Huntington’s Disease around Scotland! They have long supported my family & until the disease is eradicated from my family, will continue to support us! I don’t ask for much, just whatever you can spare! If you can’t donate, at least spread the word for me please!
