Every day in the UK six teenagers are told they have cancer. That's over 2000 each year.
I thought it would be amazing if over two thousand teenagers helped us by raising £50 each before the end of 2009 (and thats how the number two thousand and nine teenagers came about too!)
Teenagers and young adults fighting cancer from many parts of the East of Scotland are treated in the Royal Hospital for Sick Children or the Western General Hospital in Edinburgh.
We have raised enough funds for the first unit in the Capital and work will begin on that next month. Now we need to save up for the unit at the Western General Hospital - at least £500,000.
Please help me do that. if two thousand and nine teenagers help us we will raise a staggering £100,400 towards our unit at the Western General Hospital.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Teenage Cancer Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
TOGETHER WE ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE
