200K in a Day is all about raising funds for MISSION DIRECT, and its work in Sierra Leone.
Running in Relay fashion we will aim to complete a total of 200k in less than 24 hours !
Running from the Thurst cafe in Thurston as our base, the circuits will predominantly be run around the village.

Mission Direct is an inter denominational Christian not for profit organisation.
The charity was founded by a team with a vision to be of practical help and a desire to bring spiritual hope to some of the worlds poorest people. Over the last four years, MD has taken over 600 volunteers, raising over £750,000 to build and refurbish orphanages, clinics, old peoples facilties and schools. They work in partnership with local tradesmen, to support indigenous businesses and skills, existing health , education and housing projects.
