Two hundred miles of terror!

Terry Pyewell is raising money for Sheffield Children's Hospital Charity
“Terry Pyewell's fundraising”

on 16 November 2009

We support the thousands of patients and families at Sheffield Children’s, from across the UK and beyond, by funding the life-changing and the joy-sparking. We make clinical care kinder, and bad days brighter. We bring play, laughter and comfort to places where they’re needed the most.

Story

So here's the story. Sat in the pub one night someone suggested that it would be great to organise a trip on the bike to Robin Hood's Bay, have a laugh, and raise a few pennies for charity at the same time.

Predictably by the end of the evening this had progressed to doing the run on the cheepest nastiest mopeds e-bay can supply.

The rules:

Maximum budget for bike: £300 (to include any tuning / modifications)

Minumum age of bike: 20 years old

Maximum engine capacity: 50cc

We will be setting off a 8am, Friday 20th November, from a local meeting point (the greyhound pub in Ecclesfield, Sheffield) and hope(!) to arrive in Robin Hood's bay before night-fall.

We will be updating this website and facebook with photos / videos of our adventures for everyones entertainment.

All raised funds will be donated to the Sheffield Children's Hospital so please give generously and share our adventure.

Ewan and Charley eat your heart out!
