Simon and Mike have been taking part in the Macmillan 4x4 UK Challenge since 2004 and have helped raise a significant amount of money in that time. Why do we do it? We're too old to be running marathons, jumping out of planes, having our heads shaved or sitting in baths full of baked beans. But we have found a way of raising money that we enjoy.
Sitting in a car for 3 days getting lost somewhere in the UK seems like a straightforward way of supporting the cause of Macmillan Cancer Support, but it is a challenge. And it is rewarding to know that our efforts go directly to help those that are helping cancer victims. Everybody knows somebody who has suffered from cancer, and some that have been helped by the wonderful work that Macmillan do, so it’s not really a case of why do we do it, but why not?
Please help us to support Macmillan. Its one of those things in life when its better to care for Macmillan than have Macmillan care for you.
All costs for this event are paid by the team which means that 100% of your donation goes to Macmillan Cancer Support.
