Barcelona Bangers was established in 2005 to give everyone who likes cars, travelling and having fun an opportunity to combine all three!

The aim is to travel from Calais to Barcelona in 3 days, driving a car that cost no more than £200.  The rally is spread over a long weekend from Friday 21st May 2010 to Sunday 23rd May 2010. Barcelona Bangers is not a race, but a fun experience of driving through Europe with a great bunch of people in a car that will hopefully make it!

Our team has chosen Back To The Future as our theme for this year.  We are currently transforming a Saab 9000 into the Back To The Future Delorean in our spare time using only our own skills and imagination.

Charity

During the successful previous events teams have raised well over £100,000 in total for their local charities.  This year we have chosen to raise money for the County Air Ambulance, a charity that does not receive any help from the government or lottery funds.
