RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

We are trying to raise funds for Scotmid/Semichem's charity of the year - RNLI

Back in June 2010, 8 'athletes' from Scotmid's central and field team took part in a '4 rounds in a day' golf challenge and due to the popularity of this we mad/brave/athletic (Please delete as appropriate) hardy individuals wish to do this again! This year on Friday 17th June

The team is: John Dalley, Colin Scott, Andy Gall, Frank McCarron, Kevin Lowe, Allan Robertson, Brian Huddart and Stewart Ross

As the field team won by 3 shots in 2010 we are going to use the same format (We may review the handicaps though!) and are choosing a different, perhaps more punishing route this year - This years challenge is:

05:00 Craigielaw

09:00 Gullane 3

13:30 Archerfield

19:00 Luffness

I would also like to thank the 4 courses for there help in setting this up.

Once again it will be around a 20 mile 'hike' with 350 shots or so taking place, all with the added pressure of spending 17 hours with Brian!!!!!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
