Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page for our Ben Nevis Winter climb challenge. 

With a common goal at interest Cyclists Fighting Cancer are working along side the organisation Lease of Life. Together they promote exercise and sport to children and young adults dealing with cancer. With this in mind the Ben Nevis challenge has been organised to provide an opportunity for such people to walk the highest moutain in the Uk. Ben Nevis rises majestically 4,400 feet above sea level.

I will be doing this climb over the weekend of the 27th of October and we are aiming to raise as much funds as possible for this fantastic cause. All funds raised will be used to help improve the lives of young adults and childen dealing with cancer by providing free sports equipment and activity days/weekend, key to regain a sense of self and not be defined by cancer.

This is close to our hearts because one of our friends Ryan Bartlett at 24 fought and overcome testicular cancer earlier this year. Whilst being under treatment he remained positive and focused on how he could help other from his experience.

He decided that he would set up the Lease of Life organisation and his first challenge to raise funds would be to climb Ben Nevis in the winter. Inspired by his attitude we have joined him in this challenge and had no hestitation in helping Ryan raise money for all the other young adults and childen with cancer. We hope with all your help we can do this together and raise as much as possibe.
