Story

Paul and Joe are embarking on a 3-wheeled adventure to cross 3,000km of India (that's 1,875mi to Americans) in a motorized rickshaw. Yes, it only has 3 wheels, yes it will likely break down every day, and yes a horse probably goes faster. Some say that we shouldn't tell our parents that the organizers specifically told us, "Individuals who have taken part in past adventures have been permanently disfigured, seriously disabled and even lost their life." Yes, it is that serious.

Why would we do such a thing? Because the money that we raise (and 30 other teams of people just as crazy as us) will go to charities that need it.

That means that I'm asking if you'd be so kind as to sponsor my rickshaw. The money will go to 2 great organizations:

- The Frank Water Project, which brings clean water technology and projects to small towns across india (with 70 projects thus far). Donate on this page!

- RARE Disease Network, specifically for Sanfilippo, a rare genetic disease affecting children that has promise for a cure.
Donate at http://www.eventbrite.com/event/2949103849

We'll take whatever you can spare. We'll even buy you a beer. We'll take a photo en route with an item of your choosing. Because we're nice guys.

But WAIT! One more thing. If you sponsor us to the tune of $100 or more, we will give you the once in a lifetime opportunity to put an image -- any image! -- of your choice on our rickshaw. Could be a company logo or a picture of a cute kitten. Space is limited, but our rickshaw will be tricked out, and this is your chance to be in all of our photos and blogs and show what an outstanding individual you or your company is.
