Story

Hi

Before I close the 2012 fundraising page I would just like to say thanks to everyone who has supported the 2012 Ride of HOPE, a total of £2614.62 has been raised for Cancer Research UK. I fully understand without your love and continued support for this event and fundraising crucial funds for the charity this would never get off the ground! The Ride of HOPE for me is now a fun packed weekend which I spend with Family and Friends doing something to make us all feel PROUD! What was nice was the event is now becoming a family fun weekend and with young children completing the event it looks like 2013 may be even bigger. With more young riders taking to cycling it gives a warm feeling when you finish the 2 day ride and a sense of achievement. 2013 will be my 5 year of supporting Cancer Research UK and my commitment is still 100%, please keep an eye on the new fundraising page as it also has been confirmed that we will be joined by riders from Saudi Arabia and South Africa so the event is now International! We have also secured the website address www.rideofhope.co.uk which when it is finished will have details of past, current and future events connected to the Ride of HOPE. Once again love and thanks to all of you….

Hope will ride again and again......join the fight!

Love Billie xx

Welcome to my 2012 fundraising page. Wow I can't believe this will be my 4th year of my Crusade Against Cancer!

Every penny raised is for Cancer Research UK and I know every penny is spent on research to find a cure for cancer. I could not have done this without all of your generosity and support. What started as a crusade against cancer in 2009 with a target to raise £1000 by cycling coast to coast has just got better and better. I am more determined to keep this going and help beat cancer once and for all.

I would like to thank so many people who have helped me over the last three years and my heart and love goes out to you all.

The date is set for the 2012 Ride of Hope - Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 July 2012

Over 40 riders rode into Annan this year lets see how many we get this year!

One thing I have learnt about Cancer is it doesn’t matter who you are or how much money you have it does not discriminate! This year 2011 was a very sad year in Saudi Arabia as it was the funeral of the Kings brother Prince Sultan who died from Cancer of the Colon and a boy at my School has also lost his fight against bone cancer which has strengthened my desire to keep going and carry on raising funds for Cancer Research UK.

Hope will ride again and again......join the fight!

Love Billie xx
