Story
Bosom Buddies is a purely voluntary group that helps patients and their families cope with the psychological and everyday consequences of breast cancer and breast related illness. The charity has been helping patients at the Bristol Royal Infirmary since 1996: raising over £600,000 to donate critical equipment to the breast care unit and establishing a foundation of after-care treatment for patients. They support both men and women fighting breast cancer at the BRI, helping people of all ages, from 21 to 80 years old.
