My story

It’s not hard to understand why the tiger is the world’s favourite animal, they’re charismatic, immense, beautiful, fiery and inspirational.

What’s difficult to comprehend is that they’re at breaking point, with less than 3,500 wild tigers left throughout the whole of Asia. We could lose wild tigers and why? Human actions that’s why!

We can stop this decline if we act together now.

Please help us give them a future.

Tigers have been over hunted, lost their habitat and now are being poached at an incredible rate. Recent research states that it’s possible to reverse this decline by focusing commitments on protecting tigers at defined priority sites, supported by proven best practices of law enforcement, wildlife management and scientific monitoring.

This is exactly what 21Century Tiger does (and have been doing since 1997), by funding carefully vetted projects throughout Asia which aim to secure the tiger’s continued survival. More information on the projects we support is available on our website.

Your money will help 21 Century Tiger to continue supporting carefully chosen field conservation projects, including anti-poaching, wildlife trade investigation, education, habitat restoration and scientific research in Russia, Sumatra and India.

21Century Tiger is a partnership between The Zoological Society of London (charity # 208728) and Global Tiger Patrol (charity # 328126). Established in 1997 it has since provided over £1.6 million pounds to nearly 60 projects in seven countries.
