So, 24 Peaks, 33 miles, 13,000 feet of climbing (21,000 feet ascent and descent), and all to be completed in under 24 hours!  That's the 24 Peaks Challenge; one of the most demanding charity events in the UK.  Our team will be taking on this challenge in the magnificent Lake District over the weekend of 17 July 2010.. 

The team consists of Mike Barnes, Judy Kelly, David Keable and Jason Sherwood, with John Peters in tactical support.  This is a really tough event and we have a rigorous training programme in place to give ourselves the best chance of completing the challenge under 24 hours.

The Lake District Search and Mountain Rescue Association is our chosen charity and our target is to raise £1000 from donations. To make donating easy we have set up a Just Giving account; all you have to do is click on the link above to make your donation. Thanks.
