Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My name is Steve Smith. My brother and I were farmers in Lincolnshire and have been supported by R.A.B.I when we were in great need. I would like to do my bit to give back to this worthy cause and so I have set about to organise a 24 hr ploughathon to help raise money. I have secured a tractor, some land and a team of people to help me see through the challenge and any help, support or sponsorship would be gratefully received.

I have worked hard to put sponsorship forms out locally amongst my community and plan to hold a presentation evening following the challenge to raise awareness of what RABI does and how they have supported me. My page will be updated regularly with how plans unfold and when the presentation will be.

You never know when you might need to call upon R.A.B.I however when I became ill and could no longer work, they were really there to help support me through and give me the quality of life I have worked hard to keep. Please do all that you can to support farmers, farm workers and their families.

The RABI website is www.rabi.org.uk and you can contact Milly Wastie the RABI East Midlands regional manager on 07525 323450 or email milly.wastie@rabi.org.uk
