Story

What is 24hrs@tesco?

Pretty much just what it says. My local Tesco is open 24hrs a day and I’m planning to spend 24hrs in the store.

For the love of God why man, why?

For the usual British reason I’m afraid, charidy. In this case the BBC Children in Need appeal.

So, how does it work?

Glad you asked.Well, basically I spend 24 hours in the store, but... I’m not telling them I’m there (why spoil the fun). How long can I stay before a member of staff spots me and asks what I’m up to? If someones asks what I’m up to, that’s it, game over.

But that sounds easy!

Yup. During the day it should be just very very boring) but more challenging at night when the whole store is basically empty. I’ll have totry to hide from the night staff.

And the Charidy bit?

I’m being sponsored by the hour. Obviously I want to actually raise some cash, so I’ll bestarting at 7am to give myself a good 12 hours easy money. However, during the time in the store I’m not allowed to buy anything other than food or drink to keep me going. Will security spot a suspicious non shopping shopper?
