I have foolishly agreed to undertake one of the most demanding mountain walking events devised as a chairty challenge.  It involves climbing 24 peaks in the Lake District all over 2400 feet within a total time of 24 hours.  Please see www.24peaks.co.uk for more details.  

I am undertaking this challenge with a group of friends on 6/7 July 2007 all raising money for different charities.  My chosen charity is http://www.cancerresearchuk.org
