Story
If you are reading this then you most likely know that my daughter, Lily-Ann has Rett Syndrome. Rett Syndrome is a neurological condition that robs little girls of a normal life, they may develop normally up until approximately 18months, but can over night lose all of their developed skills. Most Rett Syndrome sufferers cannot walk, talk, have any usage of their hands, suffer from scholiosis, epilepsy, feeding issues, low immune systems, the list just goes on.
Every day, all around the world parents of these girls are praying for a miracle...a cure!
it has been proven that lab mice can be cured of Rett Syndrome, now we hope that with more research a cure may be within our grasp
Beginning on september 9th i, and many others, will be starting a challenge to raise money for this crucial research. Every day for 50 days i will be running, walking or cycling a distance of 5k.
I ask that you can support myself and my cause in any way you can, for my beautiful Lily-Ann and all of the girls like her to have a chance at life.
