If you want to see me get Tasered and suffer extreme pain...READ ON

I have been fortunate enough to assist with the National Holiday Fund for their last 2 trips, taking sick and disabled children to Orlando, Florida for the holiday of a lifetime

Of course we visited all the Disney theme parks but we also had a great day with the Eustis Emergency Services. They put on a show for the kids (and helpers !!!) 

They showed us a Taser and explained how they knew exactly how painful it is, as they have been tasered during their training

I use a taser here in the UK, so in a moment of madness asked if they would taser me (we cannot get tasered in our UK training)

I thought it would improve my understanding of the taser AND put on a great show for everyone watching

Well the pain was unbelivable. 2 barbs fired into my back. The barbs are like mini fish hooks that pierce the skin. The barbs are connected to wires that deliver the electricity from the taser. The gap in the body between the barbs gets the full shock, causing the muscles and nerves to lock out. The 5 seconds seemed like 5 hours and felt like being electrocuted while also being trampled all over by a herd of elephants.
