Gill and Chandra Davda are celebrating their Silver Wedding Anniversary in October this year and gave themselves a challenge to raise £25,000 between their chosen two charities:

Ideally we would prefer if your donations were split equally between the two charities on the two separate pages, but do not feel obliged to do so.
To achieve this target many family members and friends are organising fundraising events from now until October. We will post updates on this site regularly.
In the mean time, the following events are confirmed:
· 17 April 2011 – 26 mile Rowing Marathon completed. Thank you to everyone who attended and a big thank you to all the Rowers, Well done!! Total raised £3705.50 between 2 charities including Russell's collection shown below.
· 23 April – Collection at Morrison Store in Wellington. My wife and I were there from 10am to 4pm and raised £277.50 for each charities (total £555.00) from kind donations given by shoppers. Thanks to the management at the store and the donors
· 17th June - Russell Mooney tackling the three peaks challenge.Russell has raised £1190 plus gift aid between rowing marathon and 3 peaks
· 26 June – Curry night at the Plough Inn Allscott.Great success,we raised £2155.00 between 2 charities, well done all !
· 10 July – Charity cycling marathon. 26miles starts at The Plough Inn, Allscott at around 10am. Great success raised over £3800.00
· 30th July - Sanjay, Neil and Ricky Davda along with their friends tackling the Three Peaks Challenge in 24 hours. Well Done all! finished in 23hrs 18minand raised £3000.00
· 13th August - Dinner and Dance at Hadley Park Hotel. Three course meal followed by singing from Caven James. The evening was great success,everyone enjoyed the meal and danced till late. The event raised £2851.50 for the charities.
· 25th September - 15 Mile walk starting at Allscott walking through Wrockwardine, Aston, up and down The Wrekin and back to Allscott raised over £1200.
· 1st October - Bollywood Night. What a great success, fantastic evening! Great Dancers and over £2000 raised. Final figure to be confirmed soon.
