Story

On 27th June 2009 four novices: John Croasdale, Steve Croasdale, Jason Walker and Mark Shapland are going to mangle their legs and feet by trying to walk the Yorkshire Three Peaks in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

We want you to part with some cash to support this good cause, and for the chance to have a laugh at the fools as their put themselves through 12 hours of blisters and pain.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It's also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Macmillan Cancer Support gets your money faster and, if you're a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor us now!

The Yorkshire Three Peaks Walk is a very demanding walk, which takes in the summits of Pen-y-ghent (2,276 feet), Whernside (2,415 feet) and Ingleborough (2,372 feet)

The walk is 24.5 miles long and takes in over 5,000 feet of climbing. The walking is over a variety of terrains, sections can be very boggy and energy sapping.
