Brighton Marathon 2013 · 14 April 2013 ·

We believe every blind veteran should be able to lead the life they choose. At Blind Veterans UK we’re one, transformational team. We provide rehabilitation, training, practical advice and emotional support. Together we can help rebuild lives.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In May 2012, my friend Captain Steve Healey was killed in Helmand, Afghanistan. Steve had previously done a lot of fundraising for Blind Veterans after two of our company's soldiers were blinded in 2010. Steve's friends are carrying on the fundraising in his memory.

I ran the Brighton Marathon in military kit, in boots, carrying a 40lb rucksack. My finishing time was 4:33:01.
