We both completed the London Marathon.  A massive achievement especially for Ange!  Thank you to everyone for your support.

 

Over the past few years we have helped Wishes4Kids in any way we can.  Back in September 2007 we cycled from Lands End to John "O" Groats, April 2008 Richard ran the London Marathon, and in April 2009 we both trekked to Everest Base Camp.  On each occasion all the cost involved have been met by ourselves.  Therefore 100% of the money raised goes direct to the charity.  In addition to this we have organised an annual 35 mile challenge walk, Ivanhoe Way Challenge, click here for details.  Raising even more money we are both running the 2010 London Marathon.

Back in April 2009 Ange couldn't run 1 mile.  Seeing Richard complete the marathon inspired her to have a go.  Applying, thinking she wouldn't get in, Ange was astonished to get a reply back saying she was successful.  This is where the really training started.  From not being able to run 1 mile, Ange has now completed a 10K race, a Half Marathon at Clowne and The Ashby 20.  This is a credit to her hard work.  Obviously we aren't there yet, however I'm sure through the hard work and determination we will both complete the challenge.
