B Company of The Second Battalion The Parachute Regiment are deploying to the Falkland Islands for a 2 month tour during August to October.  In tribute of those who haven't made it home or who have been injured during Operations, we are planning on running the distance from Merville Barracks, Colchester, to the capital of the Falkland Islands, Port Stanley.  The total distance for this is 7,928 miles (12,758.88km), which will be completed on treadmills or weather permitting in the local area.  Our chosen charities are The Parachute Regiment Charity and The Royal British Legion.
