Thank you for visiting David and Andy's " 2 Towers/Ou est Paris?" fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.
I and Andy have undertaken to cycle 250 miles (~400km) from London to Paris coinciding with the 100th Anniversary year of the Entente Cordial (1904 - 2004). - Le 100eme Anniversaire.
The "2 Towers/Ou est Paris?" - London to Paris bike ride is commencing on Sunday 20th June 2004 (Rosh Chodesh Tammuz 5764) at the Tower of London and will finish "Please G-d" at the Eiffel Tower on Wednesday 23rd June 2004. The intrepid team of riders will be our own David Cukier (46) and Andy Schapira (younger). Our route will take us from London to Brighton (Newhaven). We will cross the Channel to Dieppe on the Seacat (in case you were wondering). Our second night's stop will be in Rouen, and all being well, we plan to spend the third night just outside Paris near Versailles pending our final assault on Paris.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me/us: Norwood will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. We are hoping this sponsorship can be used towards further fund raising events for Norwood bike rides later in the year, including the Norwood Family/ junior bike ride, with Elliot, Shelley and Joel not to mention Esti participating.
