Hello and thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We've set up this page to raise money for our best friends son called Theo.

Theo was diagnosed with a brain tumour (Pilocytic Astrocytoma or JPA) at the age of two. Unfortunately the tumour was located in an area of the brain where surgery is impossible. He had to undergo 18 months of chemotherapy to shrink the tumour, but this might not be the end of the battle as the majority of these tumours continue to grow and require further treatment.  

This is an illness extremely close to our hearts, having lost a family member and friend to a brain tumor some years ago.

The Brain Tumour Charity has a revolutionary (first of it's kind) research funding opportunity to establish a Research and Innovation Centre for Paediatric Low Grade Brain Tumours in the UK and Europe.
