Kilimanjaro Challenge · 20 August 2015

We support thousands of people living with terminal illnesses & their families, in our three hospices, via our patient & family support services, and in the community through Myton at Home. We need to raise £12.7 million this year to provide our services free of charge – we can’t do it without you!

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In August 2015, staff and students from The Blue Coat Church of England School and Music College will be hiking to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest free standing mountain on Earth and the highest point on the African continent.

Why are they doing this? To raise money for Myton Hospice. Myton Hospice is a charity which provides care for those in special need across Coventry and Warwickshire. In addition to care for the elderly, Myton Hospice understands that children often suffer terrible bereavement through losing a loved one. Myton Hospice’s “Rainbow Ripples” programme provides direct support to children who have been affected by the serious illness of a close relative.

Our aim is to raise a combined amount of £30,000 for the charity. 100% of the money raised on this site will go to the charity.
