<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>Just over 6 years ago my lovely mum sadly passed away after a 2 year battle with cancer. In&nbsp;the last few weeks/months she spent some time at the Garden House Hospice in Letchworth, which I know was&nbsp;of great help and support,&nbsp;not only to her, but also to my dad. I have vowed ever since to run the London Marathon, and raise money directly for the local hospice. After 6 attempts I now have my place through the ballot. BUT just in case I didn't get in, I have also got a place in the 1st ever Milton Keynes marathon (7 days later) - oops! I have now decided to commit to 2 marathons in 7 days, in hope that the considerable pain this will cause me, will make you dig even deeper. Please give as much as you can - and please don't under-estimate how awful I am at running,&nbsp;it might not be fast but&nbsp;I promise to finish 52.4 miles!&nbsp;</p>
