TWO MEN, TWO BIKES, TWO THOUSAND MILES
Jonny Downie and Kyle McPherson are two teenagers with a mission! They are undertaking a cycle ride which will take them through five countries starting in Edinburgh and finishing at Paleros in Greece!
This is a trip of a lifetime - some 2000 miles and all to raise funds for TCT East of Scotland.
Jonny came up with the idea late last year and his friend Kyle loved it. He asked to join this epic challenge. Kyle had cancer when he was 15 and was treated at the Western General Hospital in Edinburgh. In his six months of treatment he didn't meet another person his age with cancer - a very isolating experience.
Now 19, Kyle - a student at Telford College studying sports science - is a tireless fundraiser for TCT.
Jonny and Kyle will set off in mid June and arrive in Paleros two weeks later!
Mostly they will be camping along the route.
Jonny and Kyle aim to raise £50,000 for TCT locally.
