I am currently serving in Afghanistan with my unit the Second Battalion The Yorkshire Regiment.  I have taken the opportunity to raise money for the Army Benevolent Fund by growing my beard - a sponsored beard growing fundraiser!  Being out here makes you realise how important it is to help injured soldiers and I am aiming to do my part by raising money for ABF.
