On the 20th of September 2 skinny fellows (Gordon and Roland) and 2 rather more robustly built individuals (Bill and James) have challenged each other to complete (not race) in the Great North Run, the worlds biggest half marathon. Obviously there are many parallels between the tortoise and the hare and consequently Bill and James (tortoises) are looking forward to really living the values by finishing first and supporting (not jeeering) our two lightweight hare-like colleagues across the line (Gordon and Roland).

We are running (?) on behalf of TAMBA (Twin and Multiple Birth Association). It is the only UK wide organisation that directly helps tens of thousands of parents of twins and more and professionals to meet the unique challenges that multiple birth families face.

TAMBA is a very special charity set up by parents of twins, triplets and higher multiples and interested professionals. Tamba wants all families with twins, triplets and more to share the same opportunities as other families, so they can enjoy their unique experiences to the full. Membership is open to all those involved in the care of twins, triplets and more.
