So i've decided to do another challenge in Hubba's memory for Barnsley Hospice.  I can't believe a year has passed already.  My legs have only just got back to normal from the last one! ;)

Last year i ran at least 5KM every day in November starting on the 1st of November which is Hubba's birthday.  It started off good, got pretty tough in the middle and by the end of the month it was becoming enjoyable (almost).  I even managed to keep up running a little after the event too which was great!

This year i decided to up the ante a little and set the bar pretty high with a target of 300KM for the month which averages out at 10KM per day.  

To make this even tougher i've not managed a lot of running the last 3 months through illness and injury so I'm going to put my body through it again.

As i said last year - Hubba said if its not hard and you are not challenging yourself what is the point in doing it - i didn't know if i could do last years and the middle couple of weeks were really tough and painful - not so much on the run but afterwards where stairs and hills became my nemesis! :D But once my body adjusted towards the end of week 3 it became a little easier.  

This time around 10km per day is a different ball game altogether.  Ive only ever managed 2 10Km runs back to back and had to have a day off.  So i'm pretty nervous and a little scared this year.

As long as my body holds out i'll give this my best shot and fingers crossed i don't pick up any overuse injuries. 

Hoping to do some park runs again so be great to see some of you there! :)

All donations go straight to the Hospice which is a fantastic cause.  They looked after Hubba during his illness and I know he wanted to do more for them, so this is my little bit towards helping him achieve what he was unable to, as i do this in his memory! 

I raised £1000 last year so i m going to set the target at that this year.
