<p>Four years ago, I was one of the first contingent of Guernsey people who joined the 30 in 30 challenge organised by Ian Brown's Cycle Shop to raise funds for the Friends of Les Bourgs.</p> <p>2008 seems like a long time ago now - it was the year we we started Morgan Sharpe and before the financial crisis.&nbsp; Can you remember back that far?</p> <p>Les Bourgs Hospice (for those of you not on in the island) is&nbsp;Guernsey's only hospice&nbsp;and it is&nbsp;funded solely by private donation.&nbsp; The cost of running Les Bourgs is &pound;500,000 and, whilst the facilities have recently been completely re-built and developed, that's a huge amount of money needed each and every year.</p> <p>Whilst I have been going to spinning classes for most of the last two years, I haven't cycled on the road more than a handful of times since I finished 30 in 30 in 2008!&nbsp; Will I even remember how to balance on a bike?&nbsp; At my age?!</p> <p>I'd love you to make a donation and so hope&nbsp;you're prepared to support my mission of cycling for at least an hour a day every day for 30 days.</p> <p>Best wishes</p> <p>Serena x</p>
