Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
To support a fantastic self-funded local charity, 39 of us will take on a very challenging 30km run at the height of summer (28 June). The route will start on the roads before taking on all of the Island's spectacular cliff paths.
Locally the cliff path run is known as the "dogbreaker", so essentially we will run a reverse dogbreaker with an extra 6km on top, rounding it up to 30km. The cliff paths alone include almost 1,000m of elevation gain over 24km. (See the attached photo of the dogbreaker route)
Les Bourgs Hospice is a fantastic local charity which makes a wonderful contribution to Island life and we are delighted to raise money for them. We would appreciate it if you could give generously to help us meet our ambitious fundraising goal.
As one of a number of "30" themed events being organized by BJB Guernsey, they will kindly match donations across all events up to a total donation of £30,000 for Les Bourgs Hospice in 2019.
Many thanks
