The Joshua Tree provides emotional, wellbeing, and practical support to families affected by childhood cancers. We help children, young people, and their families cope with the life-changing impact of cancer, empowering them to thrive during treatment and beyond. We are a non-profit charity

Story

3 members of Barclays GTOC, Jeff Templeman, Garry Bothwell and Richard Hinley are walking the full length of the Sandstone Trail on Tuesday 9 August. This is a 34 mile route from Frodsham to Whitchurch and passes over Frodsham Hill and the Beeston / Peckforton hills. It is normally recommended to do the walk over 2 or 3 days, so should prove a challenge even to seasoned walkers!

We are raising money for the Joshua Tree - http://www.thejoshuatree.org.uk/ - a local charity whose aim is to develop a holiday house and support centre in Cheshire, where children with a life threatening illness can come with their families for a free short break. All monies raised will be doubled by Barclays, under their £4£ scheme.
