Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit the JustGiving page for 35th Nottingham (Kingswood) Scout Group.
We did it! Thanks to everyone who turned out to support us last Saturday when we climbed the equivalent of Mount Everest (and had a little bit of energy left so carried on and did a few more ascents!)
On 4th September 2010, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts from the 35th are going to collectively attempt to climb the equivalent of Mount Everest. However, rather than take the whole group to Nepal, we will be climbing in Wollaton Park.
We are doing this to raise money for Brain Tumour UK in memory of Bernard Litchfield. Bernard was our Cub Scout leader until November 2008 when he was diagnosed with a brain tumour. Bernard sadly passed away in December 2009 and is missed hugely by everyone associated with the group.
Please sponsor us for this very worthy cause.
