Earlier this year, we all decided to get fitter and complete the Lisbon Half Marathon which we duly did.  Afterwards we all thought pah - that was too easy.  What we needed was a real challenge so why not move up to another challenge.  Maybe say a marathon...??!  Rather spontaneously, we all got carried away and actually signed up to the Chicago Marathon which is on Sunday October 11th - eeeekk!!!

After signing up, we all thought we should raise some funds for charity.  We all know it's been a tough year for many but spare a thought for those who are still far less fortunate than ourselves.  Starfish is a charity which raises cash for children orphaned or for those made vulnerable by AIDS in South Africa.  Currently it helps over 36,000 children.

So basically, what we're asking for is for you to open up your wallets and purses, and donate some cash to this great cause.  Everything helps and makes a difference.
