ShelterBox work to ensure that vulnerable families around the world have life-saving emergency shelter, and other essential tools and aid items, after disaster strikes. Be it an earthquake, flood, conflict or hurricane, we are there for those most in need.

Story

Welcome to the Topsham Sea Fever donation page. Kate and Andrew, Virginia and Patrick with David the hairy gooseberry are competing in the Three Peaks Yacht Race 2010 with Bill as back up guru. This will involve reaching the peaks of the highest mountains in Wales, England and Scotland by sailing over 390 miles, running 59 miles and cycling 30 miles. The start is on Saturday 19th June and the website to follow for race postions is www.threepeaksyachtrace.co.uk in additon there is a blog  from the crew on http://topshamseafever.blogspot.com/ .

We are raising money for Shelterbox. Shelterbox is a charity supported by Topsham Sailing Club and a very worthy cause that provides boxes providing key shelter and supplies to enable 8 people to survive.  The boxes are set up ready to be sent to where ever they are needed as soon as they are needed.  A box costs £490 and we hope to raise enough money for two.If you enjoy following us and Kithros 2 as we battle with light airs, lack of sleep and rationing of jelly babies not to mention a bit off sailing and running then give us some money to make it worth while.
