Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page
On the weekend of 1st and 2nd August a team of 25 staff from 3 will be attempting to conquer the three highest peaks in the home nations: Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in just 24 hours.
This is an almighty challenge whereby the team will be working through the day and night, climbing a total of almost 3000 vertical metres and driving over 480 miles with little or no sleep.
For this challenge the team has decided to support a local charity called ‘The Paul Strickland Scanner Centre’. This is a non mainstream charity that provides state-of-the-art scanning services using CT, MRI and PET/CT scanners for the early diagnosis of cancer and other serious diseases. The specialist service that the Centre provides has helped in saving many lives. The Centre is the only one of its kind in the country and relies on voluntary donations and fundraising initiatives to pay for new scanners, which have to be replaced every 3-5 years. In 2010 the charity celebrates 25 live saving years - your help is vital in helping them to continue to do this for many more.
We would really appreciate your support for our challenge.
The team are Lucy Holroyd, Danny Dixon, Richard Brindley, Danny Dutt, Carla Chifney,
Neville Groom, Marianne Dammer, Joe Gurney, Keith Abeynayake, Manuel Cabrera, Craig Cornwall, Claire Pike, Louise Badger, Celine Gregory, Samantha Gwynne, Chris Mackown, Tom Robson, Kate Copping, Simon Teague, Peter Allinson, Andrew Swinbourne, Julie Swinbourne, Adele Shepherd, Mark Green, Ian Hargrave
